The pure breed Caucasus bees who visit the trees and flora here have an unusually long probiscus, helping them reach deeper into flowers for the nectar that gives their honey a uniquely complex flavour. in this special high mountain landscape, the environment is almost completely untouched
by industry or pollution. For a Georgian honey bee it’s about as close to heaven as you can get, and the honeys they produce each reflect this special landscape
